Open Positions:
Software Engineer
AdSafe Media is hiring passionate, dedicated and brilliant engineers to join the core engineering team. As part of the core engineering team you will work closely with the founders in a fast paced, challenging environment to help shape the technology landscape and culture of the core product.
Responsibilities
- Work to extend the Controller components in our MVC framework-based User Interfaces
- Work to extend our J2EE servlet architecture
- This is a startup so expect to wear many hats
Requirements
- B.S., M.S. or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience
- Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems and a willingness to learn
- Experience with Java servlet development using Tomcat
- Experience with RDMS, particularly mysql
- Extensive knowledge of open source technologies, particularly Linux and CLI tools
- Self-motivated and reliable
Bonus
- Experience with Tapestry
- Experience with cloud computing platforms like EC2 or GAE
- Experience with Hadoop, Hive, Pig or any other large scale distributed computing technologies
- Experience with Cassandra, Memcachedb, or other high throughput data solutions
- Previous startup experience
- Experience with full stack (front to back end development)
